The Governing Body of AIREA serves as the supreme decision-making authority. As per FY 2024-25, The Governing Body comprises of 41 committed and dedicated members with strong knowledge base helping the industry in promoting external trade of rice. It is responsible for setting policies, making strategic decisions and managing the operations of AIREA.
The members of the Governing Body are entrusted with ensuring that the organization functions in accordance with its mission and objectives.
Apart from its crucial advisory role in the activities and functions of AIREA ,the Governing Body through its various committees also helps in focused approach on various trade related issues, helps the AIREA Secretariat in delivering its services meaningfully.
